The Oread Angel Investors network heard from five new Jayhawk-affiliated companies at the second pitch and networking event on March 7. The KU Alumni Association hosted the event in the Jayhawk Welcome Center.
The group of regional angels and investors were welcomed by Park CEO Adam Courtney and University of Kansas Chancellor Doug Girod. The group heard about Kansas’ angel tax credits from Romaine Redman of Kansas Commerce and the launch of The Hill Fund from John Fein before hearing from five Jayhawk-affiliated startups.

The Oread Angels Investors network would not be possible without its partners, including KU, the KU Alumni Association, the Digital Health Co/Lab at KU Med Center, and Kansas Commerce, who provided grant funding to launch the network. And thanks to Polsinelli for sponsoring the network.
